The signal coming out of the 2600 is pretty weak so the newer TVs tend to filter it out. Adhere to reddiquette and reddit's site-wide rules. On all my newer TVs, the Atari causes the TV to go to a 'blue' screen indicating that it can't read a signal. The end with the adapter then slides into the standard cable connection slot on your tv.
